Joan Hogan, visual artist, is a graduate of GMIT. She held her debut exhibition “Metamorphosis” in 2001. Specializing in paint, this display of strong contemporary works was the dynamic launch of her artistic career. She drew her inspiration for this exhibition from the river Corrib and environs, which became the metaphor for her personal journey.
